Y O G A

Practicing yoga helps free dulling patterns of behavior,

discover, and develop skills to live the life we desire.

I practice daily to stretch my imagination, shift perceptions,

and explore the limitless possibilities of growth and connection.

Understanding that I control how I feel, I now have the

confidence to brighten my energy, live with greater self-awareness,

and personal power with less physical, and emotional pain.

Through Forrest Yoga,

I teach students how to hone their skills of connecting to themselves

in a deeply meaningful, respectful, and compassionate way.

It is a healing practice.

Great for any age, all levels of experience,

and those working with specific injuries and needs.

Breath is the foundation of the practice.

Learning how to breathe deeply allows us to live a rich, meaningful life.

Increased breath capacity oxygenates our blood, organs, and cell tissue.

To name a few things, this assists in better heart function,

digestion, vitality, and focus.

Classes are designed to build strength and stamina.

Each session features abdominal exercises to

develop a deep connection with core muscles,

developing strength in our center.

This core intelligence relieves chronic neck and back pain

by recruiting abdominal strength.

This strength supports other areas of the body

in opening and lengthening.

Mindful, intentional movement develops self-awareness

to be, live, and breathe with integrity.

Alignment allows us to stand in the

center of our Truth with ease and grace.

A deep and meaningful connection with Self

connects us to our Spirit.

The intuitive, wise energy within that

lights us up!

Each class varies depending on the intent that day.

Examples; hip openers, heart openers, inversions, twists.

All poses have modifications,

allowing the opportunity to explore something new and

specifically customize to individual needs.

Doing what you CAN do.

Cultivating trust in ourselves

to manage whatever we encounter with

Breath, Strength, Integrity, and Spirit.

Rosalie is one of the most gifted yoga teachers I’ve ever worked with.

Her knowledge and skill is matched by her compassion and genuine care for each student.

I’ve taken both group classes and private sessions with her.

In the private sessions, I wanted to build my strength, confidence

and understanding of hand-stand poses.

I also needed help with hip openers.

Rosalie designed each session specifically for me and my needs.

She created the most affirming, supportive, empowering experience

and worked with me step by step to achieve my goals.

I received more than I could have imagined in my series of private sessions with her.

Rosalie is highly skilled as an instructor and is able to intuit what each student needs.

Her energy is grounding, loving, encouraging, and inspiring.

Her verbal cues are excellent and her tactile feedback is gentle and immensely helpful.

I’ve grown so much by working with Rosalie over the past year.

I give her my highest recommendation for yoga students at all levels.
